Computed Tomography Technologist

Location: Premier healthcare facility (Normal, IL 61761 - Onsite) Employment Terms: W2 status, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Retirement Savings Plan, and Paid Sick Leave Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours weekly for a 3-month duration We are currently looking for a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will support our radiologists by delivering precise and efficient CT imaging for patients across our inpatient, outpatient, and emergency departments, ensuring that all services are provided safely and cost‑effectively. Core Duties Execute diagnostic CT scans for diverse patient groups, strictly following physician directives and standardized imaging procedures. Manage imaging hardware with precision to help maintain a safe environment and ensure top‑tier diagnostic image quality. Work alongside nursing staff, physicians, and radiologists to facilitate seamless diagnostic workflows and improve overall patient outcomes. Confirm patient details, provide clear explanations of the scanning process, ensure proper positioning, and prioritize patient well‑being during every procedure. Keep thorough and accurate imaging logs and patient files while ensuring full adherence to regulatory mandates and internal quality benchmarks. Professional Requirements Completion certificate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program or a relevant college diploma. Current Radiologic Technologist license for Radiography issued by the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA). Valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Active registration in Radiography (R) via the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Possession of one of the following: Certified Nerve Conduction Technologist (CNCT) credential OR ARRT registration in Computed Tomography (CT). Prior experience conducting diagnostic CT scans within hospital or emergency clinical environments is highly valued. Comprehensive understanding of radiation safety protocols, CT imaging techniques, and industry-standard patient care regulations. Working Hours Monday through Friday, 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm.
