We are looking to add another member to our optical sales team. The ideal candidate will guide patients to their eyewear as well as their vision needs. We provide exceptional customer service and the highest standards of quality from start to finish. Duties Market and sell great products to patients Conduct fittings and adjustments of eyewear to ensure proper fit and comfort. Maintain accurate patient records, including prescriptions and order details. Educate patients on proper eyewear care and usage. Collaborate with optometrists to provide the best care Manage inventory levels of frames, lenses, and other optical supplies. Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Stay updated on the latest trends in eyewear fashion and technology. Skills Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to optics and eye care. Familiarity with retail sales techniques, including retail math for inventory management. Ability to understand vital signs in a clinical setting is a plus. Basic understanding of anatomy as it relates to eye health. Experience in medical billing and coding is advantageous but not required. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including senior care considerations. Strong problem-solving skills to address patient inquiries and concerns.
