Phlebotomist

Job Schedule Mon-Fri 9:00am – 6:00pm; Sat 8:00am – 12:00pm (rotating as needed). Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and promptly. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Assume administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications 1 or more years of phlebotomy experience working in a clinical/hospital environment. 1 or more years of experience assisting all patient groups (pediatric – geriatric). Current or prior LabCorp experience. Additional Job Standards In lieu of work experience, a phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency. Must be able to pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to work in a fast‑paced/high‑volume environment. Exceptional customer service skills. Strong communication skills; both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Incentives Quarterly incentive bonus program. Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
