Barista (In‑Person)

Furqaan Cafe is seeking a reliable and friendly Barista to prepare and serve high-quality beverages while delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair Engage with customers warmly, taking orders efficiently and providing outstanding service Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform cashiering duties with accuracy using POS systems Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and compliance Assist in basic food preparation tasks, including assembling snacks or light food items as needed. Restock supplies and coordinating with vendors. Qualifications Previous barista experience or background in coffee service with food handler certificate is highly preferred.
