Medical Historian

Job Description Every day, the donors you meet will motivate you. The high‑quality plasma you collect will become life‑changing medicines. A commitment to customer service and quality is expected. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and serve as a plasma donor screener and perform phlebotomy to support plasma center operations. Responsibilities Answer phones, greet and focus on donors, while ensuring safety of donors and the team. Screen new and repeat donors and record donor vital signs and finger‑stick results. Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation. Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes using company‑approved procedures. Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to walk and/or stand for entire work shift. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees. Ability to lift up to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. (rarely 50 lbs.). Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance. Experience working in a customer or patient‑facing role (minimum 1 year). Compensation and Benefits Summary U.S. Starting Hourly Wage: $16.00. The wage may be adjusted in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements and may include short‑term incentives and access to medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, disability coverage, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time off, holidays, and well‑being benefits. Eligible employees receive up to 80 hours of sick leave per year, and new hires accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
