Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU (Travel)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting with a patient ratio of 1:1 or 1:2
• Float to HVU and PCU units as needed, with a patient ratio of 1:4 in those settings
• Utilize electronic medical record systems; current EMR is MEDHOST with a transition to Cerner in progress
• Deliver critical care nursing services across a 24-bed unit (plus 2 recovery beds)
• Adhere to unit dress code: any solid color scrubs

Required Qualifications

• Active RN Licensure (must be valid for the state of Texas)
• BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU / critical care experience required
• No call requirements
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with MEDHOST or Cerner EMR platforms
• Experience floating to step-down or progressive care units (PCU/HVU)
• Background in high-acuity critical care environments
