Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol in Brownsville, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to security-related needs. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeWed01:00 PM - 07:00 PMThur07:00 AM - 07:00 PMFri07:00 AM - 07:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the business, exterior perimeter, parking areas, and access points to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access to the location, observe visitor and employee activity, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to the appropriate personnel. Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements. Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
