Travel Surgical Technologist

American Traveler seeks a Surgical Technologist with strong neuro experience for a hospital OR position requiring at least 3 years of specialty experience.

Operating Room setting within a hospital

Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM

On-call requirements apply

Neuro case proficiency required; experience in robotics, ortho, or general surgery a plus

Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Surgical Technologist specialty required

BLS certification required

NBSTSA certification preferred

Prior travel experience required

Teaching hospital and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred

Compact or LA license required at time of submission, if applicable

Driver's license required for consideration

Facility does not accept first-time travelers

Candidates must live more than 65 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted

Returning staff or in-house agency contractors must have a 1-year separation from the facility before returning as a travel contractor

RTO must be disclosed on profile and discussed during interview to avoid offer rescission

Orientation is held five days a week

Candidates may be assigned to an Emergency Team during declared emergency events, requiring extended on-site presence or relief team participation
