Seasonal Tax Accountant
Virtual Vocations Inc
To support a growing CPA firm, the Seasonal Tax Accountant (IL Licensed) will prepare and review individual and business tax returns, manage assigned tax work independently, and collaborate with a remote team, working approximately 30+ hours per week during the tax season. Key responsibilities Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns, including Forms 1040, 1120-S, 1065, and 1041 Research tax questions and assist with tax planning and consulting for clients Communicate effectively with clients and team members while managing work independently in a remote environment Required qualifications 7+ years of public accounting experience Recent experience preparing and reviewing income tax returns Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field Strong knowledge of federal and state income tax rules Proficiency with Microsoft Office and QuickBooks Online
