Job Description As a Security Officer with Active Clearance in State College, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $27.00 / Hour 21+ Years of Age (C101): All candidates must be at least 21 years old at the time of application. Active DoD Secret Clearance (C103): As part of our hiring process, we would like to remind you that an active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance is a requirement for this position. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols of research facilities, office areas, laboratories, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access control systems, visitor activity, and security-related equipment; document observations, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns accurately. Support the protection of proprietary research, technology assets, and controlled areas by verifying authorized access and following site-specific entry procedures. Minimum Requirements: Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
