Entry Level Specialty Pharmacy Technician (Onsite) – Full-Time Opportunity | West Sacramento, CA

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated  Pharmacy Technician to join a fast-paced, high-volume pharmacy operations environment in  West Sacramento, CA . Compensation & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $26.00/hour
• Monday – Friday Monday & Wednesday 2-10:30pm. Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 1:30-10:00pm
• **Candidate to be prepared for schedule change after 4 weeks depending on business needs and would shift to our Sunday-Thursday shift. Sunday are 8:30AM-5PM and the rest of the week remains at Monday & Wednesday 2-10:30pm. Tuesday, Thurday & Friday 1:30-10:00pm unless told otherwise by Management. ***Mandatory OT***

Work Environment

• 100% onsite role in a high-volume, production-based pharmacy setting
• Fast-paced environment requiring accuracy, consistency, and teamwork

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately fill prescription vials with tablets and capsules based on system-generated instructions
• Replenish automated dispensing systems and ensure proper medication storage and handling
• Perform barcode scanning, data entry, and verification of lot and expiration details
• Conduct inventory cycle counts and assist in resolving discrepancies
• Prepare specialty and cold-chain prescriptions following strict handling guidelines
• Support packaging and shipping processes while maintaining patient privacy standards
• Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate operational issues as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active California Pharmacy Technician License (required)
• Entry level - Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience , retail, or customer service experience (excluding externships/training)
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• PTCB National Certification
• Experience in a high-volume or production-based environment
