Technician, Field Services
Contract | Around $20/hr | Karnes County, TX
Looking for a hands-on Field Service Technician with mechanical aptitude to support Saltwater Disposal (SWD) operations. If you enjoy working outdoors and have experience with oil & gas equipment, we'd like to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, repairs, and construction of SWD facilities
- Install and maintain piping, transfer lines, truck offload systems, and tank batteries
- Repair pipelines, pumps, valves, VFDs, and related equipment
- Assist with construction projects, equipment installation, and preventative maintenance
- Load and unload tools, pipe, pumps, and materials
- Perform tank cleanouts, plumbing, and general site housekeeping
- Inspect equipment and repair pump seals and related components
- Complete accurate timesheets and follow all company safety procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Mechanical aptitude required
- Oil & gas or SWD experience preferred
- Experience with hand and power tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, safety-focused, and dependable
- Certifications such as forklift, skid steer, manlift, polyfusing, or pump mechanic are a plus
