Anesthesiology Opportunity at Erie County Medical Center

Erie County Medical Center (ECMC) provides a diverse range of clinical services including anesthesia for orthopedics, general surgery, cancer care, thoracic, bariatric and trauma surgery. The work involves providing clinical services in the perioperative setting, is mostly supervisory with some solo cases. There is a voluntary faculty appointment to the University of Buffalo and resident teaching included.

ADMINISTRATIVE AND CLINICAL FUNCTIONS: As the staff physician anesthesiologist, the incumbent participates in hands-on clinical care, assisting in training nurses and residents, and delivering optimum care to patients. Work is performed under the direct supervision of the Chief of Service.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• MD or DO, Board Certified or Eligible in Anesthesiology
