Cook – Chesapeake's Gatlinburg

Chesapeake's is now hiring a Cook to join our team at our Gatlinburg location!

We're looking for dependable, hardworking team members who thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Cook, you'll prepare high-quality menu items while maintaining the cleanliness, consistency, and food safety standards our guests expect.

Line Positions Include:

• Window
• Grill
• Salad
• Fry

What You'll Do:

• Prepare food for your assigned station according to recipes and specifications
• Maintain proper food temperatures and quality standards
• Keep your station clean, organized, and sanitized throughout your shift
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
• Ensure kitchen equipment is operating properly and report any issues
• Assemble menu items quickly and accurately
• Learn and prepare new menu items and daily specials as they are introduced
• Work efficiently with the kitchen team to deliver an outstanding guest experience

Job Requirements:

• Team player with a positive attitude and sense of humor
• Smiles easily and enjoys working with others
• Basic math skills and understanding of measurements and conversions
• Ability to use a digital scale and food thermometer
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and more with assistance
• Able to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the entire shift
• Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred
• Ability to accurately follow recipes and food preparation procedures
