Role Overview: This position involves providing critical care nursing in acute care hospitals, focusing on managing high-acuity patients. Responsibilities include titrating vasoactive drips, managing invasive monitoring (arterial and central lines), operating life-sustaining equipment such as CRRT and Impella, and leading Rapid Response and Code Blue interventions using ACLS/BLS protocols. Key Responsibilities Manage complex mechanical ventilation, troubleshoot, analyze ABGs, and facilitate weaning protocols. Operate advanced life-support devices for multi-organ failure. Lead emergency responses ensuring patient stability during crises. Qualifications & Skills Registered Nurse license (compact or state-specific) prior to start. Diploma from an accredited nursing program. Minimum of one year RN experience in acute care; preferred additional experience in critical care, especially in CV or Florida locations. Certifications: BLS within 30 days and Advanced Life Support within 6 months, accepted from AHA or Red Cross.
