With multiple locations across the United States, our mission is to delight our guests with tasty, street-style tacos, homemade salsas, and refreshing margaritas, all crafted with fresh, simple ingredients and traditional Latin American cooking techniques. Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of fresh ingredients for daily menu items
- Cook authentic Mexican tacos and sides in accordance with Rusty Taco standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines during food preparation
- Assist in menu planning and the development of new dishes
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
- Train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and kitchen procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant kitchen or cooking environment
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for cooking and dedication to preparing quality food
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Basic knife skills and knowledge of various cooking methods
