Mechanical Engineer

We’re looking for a hands‑on Mechanical Engineer with a strong product mindset to join a fast‑paced engineering team working on next‑generation sensing hardware and advanced systems. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in rapid prototyping environments, enjoys solving complex mechanical challenges, and can translate concepts into scalable product solutions. Responsibilities Drive rapid prototyping cycles with multiple design iterations Lead assembly process development including tooling, equipment, and validation Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturing partners globally Perform tolerance analysis, FMEA, failure analysis, and GD&T activities Support proof‑of‑concept builds and process validation Contribute to scaling designs from prototype to production‑ready solutions. Must‑Have Skills Mechanical or optomechanical experience with high‑precision alignment processes Experience in optical imaging, display, or sensing assemblies Strong rapid prototyping background 3+ years of experience in 3D CAD (NX, SolidWorks, or similar) Experience working with international vendors and contract manufacturers Nice‑to‑Have Skills Experience with NX and/or SolidWorks End‑to‑end ownership from concept to product release Knowledge of optical/display metrics (MTF, contrast, luminance, uniformity) Experience with wearables, cameras, or optical systems Familiarity with head‑mounted systems or bench‑top optical setups Understanding of FEA, stress/structural analysis, and automation systems Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience) #J-18808-Ljbffr Intelliswift - An LTTS Company
