About the Role
The Company is in search of a Managing Director, Technology Banker to join their team. The successful candidate will be a senior coverage banker with a focus on high-growth technology companies, responsible for originating, developing, and deepening client relationships. This role is pivotal in expanding the company's market presence, particularly within the San Francisco Bay Area and the broader technology ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the technology sector, with the ability to identify emerging trends and provide strategic insights. Key responsibilities include client coverage, business development, and technology ecosystem leadership, as well as a strong emphasis on risk management and the One Company partnership. Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' experience in commercial banking, corporate banking, technology banking, investment banking, or related financial services, with a preference for those holding a Master's or MBA degree. The role requires a deep understanding of the technology industry, including various subsectors and emerging business models, and a strong network within the technology and venture capital community. The candidate should be a recognized industry expert with exceptional relationship-building and client management skills, a strong business development orientation, and the ability to collaborate effectively across different business units. A high level of personal integrity, a commitment to the company's values and risk culture, and the ability to work in a matrix environment are essential.
