Lucerne Veterinary Hospital, located in Dedham, Maine, is looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant or Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team of three full-time veterinarians and 15 dedicated support staff. We're searching for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care, and values building lasting relationships with clients through compassionate communication.

What Our Veterinary Technicians Do includes assisting veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures; providing compassionate nursing care and monitoring hospitalized patients; performing laboratory testing, diagnostic imaging, and patient treatments; educating clients about preventative care, treatment recommendations, and patient wellness; monitoring anesthesia and supporting patients through surgical procedures, if licensed and trained; maintaining accurate medical records and collaborating with teammates to provide exceptional patient care; and helping create a positive experience for both patients and their families.
