CLASSIFICATION: ExemptREPORTS TO: Director of Human ResourcesJOB DESCRIPTIONSummary/ObjectiveServes as a strategic partner between the HR organization and bank leadership of assigned organizations.Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Works closely with leadership and team members to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.Consults with executive and line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.Provides day-to-day performance management guidance (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions) to assigned bank leadership and staff.Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.Manages and resolves employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations. Work with other HR Business Partner(s) to address and review/approve documentation of issues – handle consistently across companyPrepare, review, and obtain approval on terminations; could be the HR representative to witness the terminationCoach managers on how to deal with issues and coach up employeesSupports change management activities.Provides guidance and input on workforce planning and organizational design.Work with their assigned business units to strategize on business line structureKeep organizational charts updated and approved by CHROSupport partnered Talent Acquisition Specialist to ensure Staffing Policy is followedAnnually update Comprehensive Job Model job descriptionsReview 90 day evaluations and handle appropriatelyWork with other HR Business Partner(s) to address reasonable accommodations consistently across the company and provide documentation and follow upAssist with set, process, and completion of annual evaluation processOther DutiesOther duties as assigned.Skills/AbilitiesExhibit, coach, and deliver on company’s culture of “Service Beyond Expectations” Begins with Me so that it is consistent throughout the HR/Training Department and is real and believable by following our defined principlesAbility to establish a relationship as a trusted advisor to leaders and team members.Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, and compensation.Experience with Workday is preferred.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of policies, applicable laws, guidelines, and regulations.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.Supervisory ResponsibilityThis position does not have supervisory responsibilities.Work EnvironmentThis job operates in an office setting, the opportunity to telework is not available. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Office environment with job duties conducted via telephone, face to face meetings, and on the computer.Physical DemandsThis position requires manual dexterity, the ability to lift files and open cabinets. This position requires bending, stooping or standing as necessary.TravelAbility to travel as needed to assigned locations is required.For Applicants located in Northern Viriginia (VA): The anticipated salary range for this position is $110,000–$150,000 annually.The ranges listed for Viriginia represent the good-faith compensation the Company reasonably expects to pay for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, education, certifications, internal equity, and business needs.
