Located in Ontario, CA Salary: $21.00 Express Employment Professionals of Rancho Cucamonga is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Janitor / Custodian for a manufacturing facility in Ontario, CA. We are looking for someone with at least 1 year of janitorial, custodial, or facility cleaning experience who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workplace. The ideal candidate is reliable, able to work independently, and comfortable following established daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules and checklists without constant supervision. $21.00/hour Day shift: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM Consistent Monday-Friday schedule Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Perform routine cleaning throughout production areas, offices, restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas .
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces throughout the facility.
- Empty trash and recycling containers and properly dispose of waste.
- Clean restrooms and restock restroom supplies.
- Maintain floors and ensure walkways remain clear of debris and potential safety hazards.
- Follow established daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning checklists .
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe manufacturing environment.
- Report maintenance concerns or potential safety hazards to management.
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and PPE requirements.
- Remain productive and manage assigned cleaning responsibilities throughout the shift.
- Minimum 1 year of janitorial, custodial, or facility cleaning experience required.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment .
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and consistent attendance.
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to bend, stoop, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Work boots required.
