City/State: Nyack, New York Department: Finance_2 Work Shift: Day Work Days: MON-FRI Scheduled Hours: 8 AM-4:30 PM Scheduled Daily Hours: 8 HOURS Hours Per Pay Period: 40 Pay Rate/Range: $143K - $157K Job Summary Reporting to the VP, Financial Planning, the position will provide analytical support including development of long range plans and project analysis. The position is meant to ultimately replace and overlap position m 020 05111 001 A (associate ID 200045653)as that incumbent is planning to terminate employment within the next 6-9 months, to provide for some continuity and training. Essential Functions Perform analyses to address specific projects' financial feasibility. Working with the project team, understand the program to identify analytical workplan and data sources. Gather information from various systems: patient accounting; cost accounting; general ledger; enterprise data warehouse; and external sources. Scrutinize data and resolve issues. Analyze data to provide useful information and recommendations. Projects can run the gamut from proposals to change or expand patient care services, to infrastructure investment analysis. Develop System-wide long range financial projections using business intelligence platform, and coordinate all other inputs. Provide finance analytical expertise to many levels of the organization, including financial accounting, reimbursement, facilities, and senior management. Qualifications BS Preferred MAS Preferred 1-3 years Required Demonstrated financial analysis capabilities and experience. Required Familiarity with patient accounting and cost accounting information. Microsoft Excel power user. Requires strict attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work with a variety of collaborators.
