Under the direction of a radiologist, the Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic procedures while providing safe, comfortable, and patient-centered care. This position requires strong knowledge of imaging techniques, patient positioning, anatomy, and radiation safety. This is an excellent opportunity for a Radiologic Technologist seeking a four-day workweek, strong shift differentials, and continued professional growth within a hospital imaging environment. Key Responsibilities Perform routine diagnostic radiographic procedures Operate imaging equipment safely and effectively Position patients appropriately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images Apply prescribed ionizing radiation using proper technical factors and safety standards Collect relevant patient medical history before imaging procedures Explain imaging procedures and answer patient questions Provide safe and comfortable care to pediatric, adult, elderly, and medically complex patients Review image quality and determine whether additional images may be necessary Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals Maintain accurate imaging and patient documentation Participate in weekend and holiday rotations Required Qualifications Completion of a formal Radiography program with an associated certificate or degree ARRT registration at hire OR ability to obtain registration within 2 years of hire after sitting for the registry within 6 months of hire Current American Heart Association BLS certification Preferred Qualifications Previous experience performing routine diagnostic procedures in General Radiology Previous customer service or patient experience background Strong knowledge of patient positioning and radiographic techniques Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Compensation & Incentives Pay Range: $27.25–$35.67 per hour Shift Differential: $2.25 per hour Weekend Differential: $2.50 per hour Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 Relocation Assistance: Available for eligible candidates Actual compensation is based on experience, skills, and internal equity.
