Apartment Maintenance Technician

Job Description Job Description Property Maintenance Technician Pay: $20/hr hour, based on experience Shift Times: 8:00am to 5pm Monday to Friday with possible on-call duties This position will be 36 hours per week. Once hired in you will work 36 hours per week and get paid for 40 hours per week. Position Type: Full-time, Evaluation with the possibility to get hired Maintenance Technician Job Duties: Available to be on call and come in early when it snows. Interact with residents and subcontractors in a positive, professional manner Prioritize work orders Flip apartments in a timely manner Capable of minor plumbing, electrical and appliance repairs. Record, complete and close maintenance work orders. Help w/ snow removal. Participate, manage and implement effective preventative maintenance Proactively assist with common areas maintaining per policy Repair exterior building as needed Capable of drywall repair, touch-up painting Equipment maintenance and repair Perform landscape construction and planting as needed Maintenance Technician Preferred Candidates: Strong problem-solving skills and trouble-shooting capability Must have current and legal drivers license. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Technical computer skills is a plus
