SharePoint/Web Content Developer

SharePoint/Web Content Developer Victor 12 is hiring a SharePoint/Web Content Developer to support an ongoing prime contract with the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) based in Orlando, Florida. This position is a remote/work-from-home opportunity and requires the ability to work East Coast hours between approximately 7:30–9 AM ET and approximately 4–5:30 PM ET. Job Summary The SharePoint/Web Content Developer designs and develops custom interfaces (SharePoint 2013, SharePoint 365) and Microsoft (MS) Power Apps workflows, working closely with the Project Manager, Systems Integrator, and Software Engineers in an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Systems Integrator to prioritize and resolve SharePoint and Web Content user requests from the Zendesk ticketing system and Kanban boards.
- Develop and update workflows and forms using MS Power Apps and Power Automate for SharePoint Online (SPOL).
- Create custom SharePoint applications/web parts.
- Integrate new SharePoint applications/web parts.
- Create and manage SPOL sites and websites.
- Create and update accurate documentation relating to SharePoint/Web Content development and site use, such as job aids, user guides, and weekly/monthly status reports with support from technical writers/supervisor.
- HTML5, Bootstrap, CSS.
- JavaScript, jQuery, JSON.
- Responsive web design.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field and 6 years of experience.
- Experience with MS Power Apps and MS Power Automate.
- Knowledge of HTML5 and JavaScript.
- Experience developing on Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, or other cloud technologies.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with multifunctional teams and customer program managers.
- Background investigation, including FBI fingerprint check, and “identity-proofed” identification through authentication of two forms of government-issued identification.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work remotely with excellent organization and communication skills.
- Working knowledge and experience in/with:
- SharePoint Server Manager.
- Google Analytics.
- SQL Server.
- Agile.
- Zendesk ticketing system.
- Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA)/Information Assurance (IA).
- Access to GitHub portfolio or personal webpage to review projects and related work.
