Operations Manager – Final Mile Logistics

Location: North Charleston, SC

Salary: $70,000–$80,000 Base 10% Annual Bonus

Additional Compensation: $100 Monthly Cell Phone Allowance

Lead High-Impact Final Mile Operations

Our client, a national third-party logistics (3PL) provider, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee Final Mile / Home Delivery operations supporting one of the country's largest retail customers.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced logistics leader who enjoys managing teams, building strong customer relationships, and driving operational performance in a fast-paced delivery environment.

What You'll Do

• Lead the day-to-day operations of a Final Mile delivery location
• Build and maintain strong relationships with onsite customers and Independent Contractors
• Supervise and develop a team across Quality Control, Customer Service, and Operations
• Ensure strong delivery performance, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members
• Manage Independent Contractor compliance, performance, and accountability
• Partner directly with customers to resolve operational and service-related issues
• Maintain a safe, efficient, and productive operation
• Participate in budgeting and overall operational financial performance
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, service levels, and operational efficiency

What We're Looking For

• 5 years of operations leadership experience within logistics, transportation, supply chain, or a related environment
• Experience managing employees in a distribution, transportation, delivery, or warehouse operation
• Experience working with or managing Independent Contractors
• Strong customer relationship and account management skills
• Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced operational environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high operational and customer service standards
