Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensure that patients feel safe and comfortable throughout procedures, clearly explaining each phase with empathy
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to achieve high-quality diagnostic images
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient records within the electronic medical system
• Stay updated on the latest advances in ultrasound imaging techniques and practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
