The Warehouse position in Hammond, LA is a critical role focused on ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of goods within the facility. The successful candidate will play a key part in maintaining inventory accuracy, organizing stock, and preparing orders for shipment to meet customer demands. This role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols to maintain a secure and productive work environment. The warehouse associate will collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize workflow and support operational goals. Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Basic math skills and ability to read and understand shipping documents.
• Prior experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively in a team setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse machinery.
• Familiarity with inventory management software or warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Familiarity with Profit 21 a plus.
• Class A CDL a plus, but not required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors.
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
• Organize and store inventory in designated locations to maximize space and accessibility.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards and customer requirements.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse to comply with safety and operational guidelines.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies to management.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets and deadlines.
