Therapeutic Transportation SpecialistTherapeutic Transportation Specialist are compensated $20.00 an hour for short distance assignments and $25.00 per hour for long distance transports.Hours of availability preferred are 7:00 to 10:00 AM & 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Monday - FridayIntercept Health is a family-owned agency serving various mental and behavioral health, substance use, and foster care needs in Virginia. Specialist will gain an understanding of the client and their needs through participation in the development of an Individualized Service Plan and be responsible for maintaining appropriate, therapeutic interactions and completion of all required documentation. Specialist will primarily be assigned short distance routes, transporting 1-2 youth on a daily basis. One-time, long-distance assignments including transporting youth in and out-of-state. The ideal candidate will be reliable, have a clear understanding of appropriate boundaries, strong interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to build relationship with youth. Education and Experience Required: The selected candidate will have at minimum a high school diploma/GED and at least one year working with children and adolescents with mental illness and/or skills training preferred.
