Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Guest Services in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do Provide exceptional customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors at a front desk location within a technology, media, and telecommunications environment. Manage visitor access by greeting guests, verifying identification, following site-specific entry procedures, and directing individuals to appropriate contacts or areas. Monitor lobby activity, access-control systems, communications, and other assigned security-related equipment; report unusual activity according to site procedures. Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed. Maintain accurate visitor logs, issue and collect temporary credentials as authorized, and complete required security-related reports and shift documentation. Minimum Requirements Customer service experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
