Stable10 is partnering with an established manufacturing organization to appoint an experienced D365 Finance & Operations Functional Analyst to support and optimize business-critical ERP processes within a high-volume production environment.
This is a highly visible onsite role for someone who combines strong functional D365 F&O expertise with real-world manufacturing experience. You’ll work closely with plant operations, warehouse teams, supply chain, finance, and IT stakeholders to ensure the ERP platform effectively supports day-to-day operations while driving continuous improvement across the business.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the operation—working directly with end users, understanding process challenges firsthand, and translating business needs into practical system solutions.
What you’ll be doing
Serve as the onsite D365 F&O functional lead supporting manufacturing operations.
Support, configure, and optimize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations across core operational and manufacturing processes.
Act as the primary point of contact between business users and IT for ERP-related functional support and improvements.
Partner with production, warehouse, supply chain, finance, and plant leadership teams to gather requirements and resolve operational system issues.
Analyze existing manufacturing workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency through better use of D365 F&O.
Support and enhance functionality across key D365 F&O modules including:
- Production Control
- Master Planning
- Inventory Management
- Warehouse Management
- Procurement & Sourcing
- Product Information Management
- Cost Management
- Quality Management
Troubleshoot functional issues, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with technical teams where integrations, development, or reporting support is required.
Support testing activities including unit testing, SIT, regression testing, and UAT.
Deliver user training and create supporting documentation, process guides, and best practice materials.
Support ERP enhancements, upgrades, rollout initiatives, and continuous improvement projects.
Provide hands-on functional support within a live manufacturing environment, engaging directly with plant users and operational teams.
What we’re looking for
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
Proven experience supporting D365 F&O within a manufacturing environment.
Strong functional expertise across manufacturing and supply chain modules, particularly:
- Production Control
- Inventory Management
- Master Planning
- Warehouse Management
- Procurement & Sourcing
Strong understanding of manufacturing operations including:
- Production orders
- Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Routing
- Work centers
- Inventory transactions
- Production planning
- Costing
- Shop floor processes
- Batch, process, or discrete manufacturing environments
- Experience gathering business requirements, translating operational needs into ERP solutions, and configuring system functionality.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capability.
- Experience working directly with operational stakeholders including production, warehouse, supply chain, and finance users.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
- Comfortable operating in an onsite manufacturing / plant environment.
Nice to have
Experience within food manufacturing, CPG, or process manufacturing.
Exposure to multi-site manufacturing environments or ERP rollout projects.
Understanding of:
- Product costing
- MRP / demand planning
- Production scheduling
- Quality management processes
Experience with Power BI, reporting tools, integrations, or data migration activities.
Microsoft Dynamics certifications.
