Position Summary: This position is responsible for operating and maintaining extrusion lines while ensuring maximum production output, product quality, and safety standards are achieved. Responsibilities:

• Set up and tear down extrusion lines, including installing and changing dies
• Start up and operate extrusion equipment
• Monitor product quality and make adjustments as needed
• Troubleshoot extrusion line issues and maintain efficient operation
• Produce quality product while minimizing downtime and scrap
• Maintain accurate production and downtime records
• Operate packaging equipment for finished products
• Assist and lead team members assigned to the line
• Use measuring instruments and hand tools including micrometers, precision rules, clamps, and fixtures
• Perform material handling and packaging preparation as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety procedures and standards

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on extrusion experience required
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Good communication and math skills
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Manufacturing experience in plastics or extrusion preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and climb throughout shift
• Frequently lift and move up to 100 lbs
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Must wear required PPE including steel-toed boots, hearing protection, and eye protection
