Local Delivery Driver (CDL B)

Responsibilities Vehicle Operation: Operate a Class B Hazmat vehicle to deliver compressed and liquid gas cylinders, as well as hard goods, along designated routes. Customer Service: Collect empty cylinders from customers and address inquiries to ensure complete satisfaction. Documentation: Record all transactions accurately and obtain necessary customer signatures. Logistics: Handle the loading and unloading of all materials. Safety and Maintenance: Conduct thorough pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections, noting any issues to ensure full safety compliance and maintaining the vehicle's condition. Professionalism: Maintain a professional appearance and serve as a representative of the company during all deliveries. Compensation and Schedule Monday - Friday, day shift Hourly rate of $30.00 Great Benefits after 30 days Gain Share Bonus (Paid Quarterly) Driver Safety Bonus (Paid Quarterly) Required Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age Must have a valid Class B or better CDL Must have HAZMAT endorsement Successful completion of Airgas Background and Motor Vehicle Check Must have at least 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience within the last 5 years DOT Clearinghouse verification from previous employers is required Ability to routinely lift 25–75 lbs., and occasionally lift 76 to greater than 100 lbs with the use of equipment Willingness to work outdoors in changing temperatures Ability to maintain a drug‑free workplace Adherence to safety regulations and policies Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Forklift Experience Touch freight delivery experience Benefits Comprehensive family benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, AD&D, and Disability Insurance.
