Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Travel Contract

Sierra Vista, Arizona

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | Monday through Friday with rotation for one day of weekend coverage | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language pathology services within an Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) setting
• Evaluate and treat patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
• Document patient progress and treatment plans using Cerner and NetHealth EMR systems
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to support patient recovery goals
• Provide occasional coverage to MedSurg unit as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license valid in the state of Arizona
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Proficiency or ability to quickly learn Cerner and NetHealth EMR platforms
• Ability to work a rotating weekend schedule

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) or acute care hospital setting
• Familiarity with MedSurg patient populations
