Store Manager

Responsible for managing store operations, including staffing, training, inventory, merchandising, and customer service to ensure smooth daily functioning. Key Responsibilities Recruit, hire, train, evaluate, and retain employees, ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies. Communicate performance, safety, and conduct expectations; conduct meetings to promote safety and policies. Oversee store opening and closing, ensuring proper staffing and operational readiness. Analyze sales and financial data to identify trends, control expenses, and optimize inventory. Manage inventory levels, ordering, merchandise presentation, and store cleanliness to enhance shopping experience. Maintain cash handling integrity, security, and safety procedures. Provide exceptional customer service and foster a safe, organized environment. Ensure compliance with company policies, documentation, and safety standards. Qualifications & Skills Ability to interpret manuals, perform math calculations, and handle cash procedures. Knowledge of inventory management, merchandising, and safety policies. Effective communication and interpersonal skills; bilingual skills may be preferred in some locations. Strong organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and leadership qualities. Experience & Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Management experience in retail is advantageous. Physical & Working Conditions Frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting up to 40-55 pounds, and occasional climbing and driving.
