Experience working in a fastpaced environment with minimal supervision.\n Preferred - Leadership skills / experience directly supervising or managing others\n Basic computer skills\n \n Certifications\n Required - Current RN License in the state of practice\n Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association\n Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification from the American Heart Association\n Preferred - Certification in clinical specialty area\n \n KSAs\n \n Strong organizational skills and detailed oriented.\n Good time management skills and self-directed.\n Demonstrates good judgement.\n Good interpersonal skills.\n Delegation skills.\n \n Job Duties\n \n Effectively uses the Nursing Process in the delivery of patient care.\n Assesses learning needs and implement teaching strategies appropriate for the diverse needs of the patient, family and other groups or disciplines.\n Communicates, delegates and manages nursing team resources (human and fiscal) properly and serves as a leader and partner on the Interdisciplinary Team.\n Utilizes data, information and knowledge to evaluate and promote change in order to achieve optimal outcomes.\n Embraces concepts and behaviors that enhance customer satisfaction and employee morale and improvement in the profession of nursing.\n Other related duties as required.\n The above statements describe the general nature and level of work only. The incumbent has an\n occupational risk for exposure to all communicable diseases.\n Because the incumbent works within a healthcare setting, there may be occupational risk for exposure to\n hazardous medications or hazardous waste within the environment through receipt, transport, storage,\n preparation, dispensing, administration, cleaning and/or disposal of contaminated waste.
