Field Service Power Generation Technician

We are offering a $5000 Sign on Bonus for a talented Field Service Power Generation Technician / Mechanic to join our Distribution Business in Hilliard, OH. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: + Completing repair activities on generators or components + Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner + Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools + Maintain detailed records of service + Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies + Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products + Maintain own tools * A current valid license is required for this role * This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations * This role requires applicant to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical * 3 years driving experience * This role is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) driving regulations including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use * Federal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or older, applicant must be 21 years of age In order to be successful in this role you will need the following: + Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities. + High Voltage / Low Voltage experience. + Proficient experience with electrical repair and maintenance + Basic Diesel Engine experience. + Proficient troubleshooting and repairs of generators, transfer switches, and auxiliary components. + Understanding switchgear schematics.
