About This Role The Director of Clinical Professional Development at Northern Dutchess Hospital is responsible for developing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating educational and staff development programs for Patient Care Services. This role is ideal for a seasoned nursing leader with a strong background in education and staff development. Highlights Location: Rhinebeck, NY What You'll Do Support implementation and utilization of clinical nursing research. Incorporate System and institutional values into educational programs. Direct development and implementation of continuing education programs in Nursing. Plan and implement education programs to enhance professional competence. Educate and market nursing roles to various audiences. Evaluate program outcomes and make necessary modifications. Organize nurse educators to meet the educational needs of nursing staff. Collaborate with nursing leadership and other disciplines on education and quality improvement. Requirements Education Master's Degree in Nursing or related field required. Experience 8-12 years of technical experience. 7+ years of leadership/management experience required.
