This position will report to the Operations Manager.This position will be at-will, meaning either the employer or the employee may terminate the employment at any time, with or without cause or prior notice.Pay range: $65.00-$75.00/hrJob ResponsibilitiesProvide oral health education and appropriate individual counseling for all dental patientsRecord patient-hygienist transactions as they occur in the patient's dental record so that the record accurately and completely reflects the nature of the contact, the condition of the patient, and the care or treatment providedDrive appointment processing and efficiency by supporting all clinical aspects patient appointment as needed to meet the needs of the patient and keep the hygiene flow moving effectively. This may include, but not limited to taking x-rays, charting, chair turnover, etc.Maintain instrumentation for dental hygiene treatment by selecting, sterilizing, and sharpening instrumentsMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; participating in professional societiesEnsure practice is clean and presentable to patients to include cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting etc.Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved childrenJob QualificationsRDH state certification/licensePrior pediatric dentistry experience preferredAbility to multi-task and complete tasks correctly and in a timely mannerStrong interpersonal skillsElectronic Health Records (EHR) practice management software experience preferredIn addition to the job description, you will be asked to perform other duties that support the business and our mission.
