Physical Therapist

Overview Rehab In Motion is expanding in Lincolnton, NC. We are looking for an experienced Physical Therapist (PT) eager to empower clients with strength and independence. Candidates should be familiar with Independent Living, Assisted Living, Geriatric, and/or Outpatient settings and value flexibility, autonomy, and personalized one‑on‑one care. Regularly re‑assess effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings and family conferences. Perform discharge evaluations, make appropriate recommendations for safety, and provide referrals and educational resources. Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, service recipients and family members. Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants as needed. Communicate with other disciplines to ensure collaboration, coordination of care, and enhanced patient outcomes. Qualifications Minimum bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. Current, unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice. Current Live CPR Certification. Two‑step TB skin test required. Proof of auto insurance. Familiarity with assisted living, independent living, geriatrics and/or home health. Demonstrated knowledge of evidence‑based therapy interventions. Effective, professional communication in verbal and written interactions. Ability to lift 50 pounds and to move, lift or transfer patients up to 100 pounds following safety procedures. Requirement for fine motor skills, visual acuity, and ability to walk/stand for extended periods. Additional physical requirements include pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and frequent positioning. Health screen or examination may be required prior to assignment and periodically thereafter to verify physical capability to perform assigned duties with or without reasonable accommodations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
