Location: Century City, CA

Compensation & Benefits: $110,000 $130,000 base + medical, dental, vision, 401K and more.

Job Type: Direct Hire, Full-Time, Hybrid 2 days onsite / 3 days remote (after 30-day onboarding period)

LHH is partnering with a growing trial-focused law firm in Century City seeking a skilled Litigation Legal Secretary to support its expanding team. The firm handles high-stakes commercial litigation matters. The firm is adding a key support professional, with potential for additional hires in the future. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, team-oriented environment with strong retention and meaningful case exposure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level litigation support to attorneys in complex commercial matters
  • Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
  • Create and maintain document shells and templates for attorney use
  • Prepare Tables of Contents (TOC) and Tables of Authorities (TOA)
  • Handle state and federal court filings (appellate filing experience is a plus)
  • Coordinate and manage e-filing processes across jurisdictions
  • Monitor case deadlines and collaborate with the docketing team to ensure compliance
  • Maintain organization of case files and litigation materials
  • Communicate with attorneys, court personnel, and external parties as needed

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Litigation Legal Secretary (trial firm experience preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal court filing procedures
  • Proficiency in TOA/TOC preparation and legal document formatting
  • Experience creating document shells and managing complex filings
  • Ability to manage deadlines and stay proactive with calendaring and case tracking
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
