Job Title: Machine Operator Job Description

The Machine Operator performs a variety of physical tasks to support daily production operations on the 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. shift, Monday through Friday. This role involves operating machinery, handling materials, assisting skilled workers, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment while ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.

• Operate production machinery in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Perform a wide range of physical labor tasks, including packaging, stacking, lifting, and moving materials throughout the facility.
• Assist with site preparation and daily production tasks to ensure smooth and continuous workflow.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and line leads, and collaborate effectively as part of a production team.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times, promptly removing debris and hazards.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Support other departments or projects as assigned to meet overall production goals.
• Monitor work area and equipment for potential safety or quality issues and report concerns promptly.
• Perform repetitive tasks with consistent attention to detail and quality standards.

• Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently in a production environment.
• Strong material handling skills, including lifting, carrying, and moving items up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Proficiency in packaging and stacking materials in an organized and secure manner.
• Ability to follow verbal and written directions accurately and consistently.
• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to perform physically demanding tasks.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
• Comfort working in environments with noise, varying temperatures, and exposure to strong smells or chemicals.
• Commitment to workplace safety compliance, including consistent use of required PPE.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous general labor or warehouse experience is a plus, but not required.
• Experience in machine operation and production support is beneficial.
• Familiarity with workplace safety practices and procedures.
• Ability to adapt to changing production priorities and tasks.

This position is based in a production facility operating on a Monday through Friday schedule from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The work involves standing, walking, bending, and performing repetitive tasks for extended periods while handling materials and operating machinery. The environment may include exposure to noise, strong chemical smells, and varying temperatures or conditions. Employees use personal protective equipment as needed, including steel toe shoes, bump caps, pants, and long sleeves, to ensure safety and compliance with workplace standards.

This is a Contract position based out of Mcdonough, GA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
