Drive alignment across Merchandising, ERP, Marketing, Finance, and Analytics. Use data-driven insights to optimize technology contributions to pricing and promotions performance and deliver measurable business value. Expected to manage multiple concurrent projects, acting as Product Manager, Scrum Master, and QA lead across workstreams as needed.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and execute the product strategy and roadmap for Pricing, Promotions, and Markdown technologyAct as hands-on PM across project teams — gather requirements, define and prioritize the backlog, lead agile ceremonies, execute testing and demos, and maintain backlog healthManage multiple concurrent initiatives simultaneously — owning product delivery, facilitating agile ceremonies, and leading QA execution across workstreamsCreate and distribute clear, concise status reports to stakeholders and leadership on a regular cadenceAlign technology investments with business strategy across Merchandising, Finance, Marketing, and AnalyticsIdentify process and technology improvement opportunities through data analysis and stakeholder engagementLead development, deployment, and optimization of Pricing and Promotion technology productsPartner with third-party service providers — provide feedback, govern delivery, and lead support team coordinationDefine and track KPIs for product adoption, performance, and business impactFoster cross-functional collaboration to enhance pricing and promotions capabilitiesLead the team in alignment with business strategy, roadmap priorities, and platform governanceRequirementsProven product management experience in retail technologyBA/BS in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field8+ years managing Pricing and Promotions technology products, including active ownership of a product backlogExperience with one or more industry-leading solutions — Revionics, McKinsey Periscope, SAP, RELEX, or o9 — preferredAgile methodology experience preferred; Jira, Confluence, and Kanban experience a plusStrong data analysis and structured decision-making skillsExcellent written and verbal communication; effective cross-functional collaboratorStrong prioritization, time management, and organizational skillsComfortable managing ambiguity and driving organizational changeLeadership CompetenciesStrategic thinker with an enterprise mindset — delivers value beyond immediate team scopeInfluential leader; effective with and without direct authorityClear, proactive communicator and problem solverBalances long-term strategic vision with day-to-day operational excellenceThis is a hybrid role. Tuesday through Thursday are in-office days at BJ's Club Support Center in Marlborough, MA and Monday and Friday are remote days.In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ's Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is $128,500.00 - $164,000.00.We recognize the growing role of AI tools, including ChatGPT, and value familiarity with them.
