Desert Hills Animal Clinic is seeking a Lead Veterinarian to join our well-established practice in Phoenix, Arizona. This is an exciting opportunity for a veterinarian who is passionate about mentorship, collaboration, and helping shape the future of a thriving hospital while continuing to practice high-quality medicine.
About Us
Desert Hills Animal Clinic is a full-service small animal hospital with an experienced three-doctor team and a dedicated support staff. Since moving into our newly built hospital at 7th Avenue and Carefree Highway in 2024, we've continued to provide exceptional preventive care, dentistry, surgery, and wellness services for dogs and cats throughout our community.
Our culture is collaborative, supportive, and genuinely enjoyable. We value open communication, teamwork, and individualized patient care while creating an environment where both our team members and clients feel welcome and appreciated.
What You'll Do
As Lead Veterinarian, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Mentor and support fellow veterinarians and support staff
- Help shape hospital culture and medical standards
- Partner with the leadership team to drive hospital success
- Continue practicing high-quality medicine with clinical autonomy
- Build lasting relationships with clients and their pets
What We Offer
Leadership Opportunity: Play a meaningful role in guiding hospital culture, mentoring your team, and helping lead a successful, growing practice.
Competitive Compensation: Base salary of $150,000$170,000, plus production with no negative accrual and a generous sign-on bonus.

Who We're Looking For
We're looking for a veterinarian who enjoys leading by example, collaborating with teammates, and mentoring others. A strong interest in surgery is highly preferred, as our hospital offers a diverse surgical caseload and opportunities to continue expanding surgical services.
