Job DescriptionJob Description

The Concrete Mixer Driver operates a standard transit mixer to deliver high-quality concrete to various construction sites. This role primarily involves vehicle operation, managing loads, adhering to safety regulations, and ensuring timely delivery on day shifts. Drivers maintain frequent communication with customers and site managers to coordinate delivery details and guarantee satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Operate standard transit mixer vehicles safely and efficiently
Mix concrete accurately to meet quality standards
Plan routes to ensure timely delivery during day shifts
Comply with all safety regulations and site requirements
Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
Manage load to prevent spillage and maintain product integrity
Communicate frequently with customers and site managers
Maintain time management to meet delivery schedules

Preferred Qualifications

Entry-level experience in heavy vehicle driving
Commercial driving certification
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance
Strong time management skills
High safety awareness
Effective communication skills
