Lead Business Analyst

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Lead Business Analyst in Juno Beach, FL.Summary:Our client is seeking an experienced Lead Business Analyst to drive requirements, delivery coordination, testing, and production support across multiple enterprise applications. This individual will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, leading analysis efforts while supporting Agile delivery, production stabilization, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate combines strong business analysis expertise with Agile execution experience and is comfortable working across multiple workstreams, stakeholders, and technologies in a fast-paced DevOps environment.Key Responsibilities:

• Lead requirements gathering, business process analysis, and stakeholder workshops
• Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and delivery-ready documentation
• Create, prioritize, and manage Jira epics, stories, tasks, and backlog items
• Support Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, standups, demos, and retrospectives
• Coordinate UAT efforts, defect triage, business validation, and production readiness activities
• Analyze APIs, integrations, JSON/XML data structures, and system dependencies
• Support production incident assessment, issue triage, root cause coordination, and stabilization efforts
• Develop monthly operational and project reporting for business and technical stakeholders
• Collaborate with developers, QA teams, product owners, architects, cybersecurity teams, and business users to deliver high-quality solutions

Skills

• 8+ years of Business Analysis experience, including leadership of large, complex initiatives
• Experience gathering requirements and supporting delivery across multiple applications and stakeholder groups
• Strong Agile and Scrum experience
• Advanced Jira experience including backlog management and requirements documentation
• Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), sign-off processes, and release readiness
• Knowledge of APIs, integrations, JSON, XML, and data validation concepts
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including complex formulas, data analysis, and reporting
• Experience supporting production incidents, triage, and operational follow-up activities
• Excellent prioritization, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working in a DevOps or production support environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Georgia GSOC experience
• Experience within the SERC reliability and compliance environment
• Energy, utility, operations, trading, scheduling, or other time-sensitive operational experience
• Experience supporting cross-functional technical teams including cloud, database, security, networking, and application development

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
