Registered Practical Nurse (RPN)

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to provide safe, professional, and high-quality nursing care to patients/residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care according to individual care plans.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and document patients' health conditions and progress.
• Take and record vital signs.
• Assist with wound care and other nursing procedures within the RPN scope of practice.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to the appropriate healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
• Follow infection prevention, health and safety, and facility policies.
• Work collaboratively with nurses, PSWs, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• Must be currently registered and entitled to practise as an RPN with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
• Nursing diploma from a recognized program.
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Previous experience in long-term care, retirement, hospital, or community care is an asset.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
