Mental Health Therapist

CARPE DIEM COUNSELING is seeking a compassionate and qualified Mental Health Therapist to provide professional counseling and behavioral health services to clients. The ideal candidate will be committed to supporting clients in achieving improved emotional well-being while maintaining a professional, ethical, and confidential therapeutic environment. Key Responsibilities Conduct individual, family, and/or group therapy sessions as appropriate. Complete client assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans when necessary. Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Collaborate with other healthcare and behavioral health professionals. Maintain client confidentiality and comply with applicable professional standards. Participate in case consultations and treatment planning. Provide appropriate referrals and community resources when needed. Maintain required continuing education and professional development. Qualifications Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. Current Virginia clinical license or eligibility for appropriate licensure. Strong communication, interpersonal, and clinical assessment skills. Experience providing mental health counseling preferred. Ability to maintain accurate and confidential client records.
