Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our team in the NICU/PICU department. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary skills to provide treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory diseases, utilizing advanced technologies and medication delivery systems.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and evaluate patient responses.
• Utilize high flow devices, continuous nebulizers, Nitric Oxide, Heliox, and regular nebulizers.
• Provide care for patients with acute respiratory conditions in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans using Meditech.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.
• 2 years of current acute care hospital experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Current NICU/PICU experience is required.
• Previous Meditech experience is preferred.
