Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Entry Authorization in Stockton, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify authorized access, monitor activity, and assist with security-related concerns. You will maintain a visible presence, conduct routine patrols, help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the distribution location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing authorized personnel and deliveries to designated areas.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and escalating concerns as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, loading docks, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and report unusual activity.
• Maintain clear and accurate access-control records, incident reports, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
